Check-up of Working Area ＆ Opening/Folding Placing Boom
1.1 Check-up of working area
1. When lateral support function is used each time, user needs to check the working area.
2. When placing boom is revolved to the working area vertically, user should revolve it to one side edge of the working area. When it is moved to the limit position of the edge, rotation will be braked because of limit and caution light on the slewing bearing lights to give a alarm. Under this circumstance, placing boom is needed to reversely turn to the other side edge until it stops automatically and indicating lights to give a alarm again. This shows that limit device works normally and the machine can come into lateral support state.
3. Thus, check-up of working area is completed.
Warning:
Before working, user must check whether limit device can work normally.
If user find that limit device can't work normally during the course of check-up, lateral support must be ended and two-side support must be used to avoid the danger happening.
1.2 Opening placing boom
User must open the placing boom strictly according to the sequence shown by the fig. above. It is insisted that the fig. above only takes example for 43X-5Z concrete pump truck to explain and the operation of extending placing boom about other type machines is referred to operation manual.
The inclination angle between the first boom and horizontal must be kept above 40°.
Warning:
The inclination between the first boom and horizontal needs to be kept above 40°, otherwise when placing boom is extended, triangle con-rod between the second boom and the third second and the fourth boom end will impact the ground so that machine is damaged.
Notice:
When front V support is used, user should ensure that the inclination between the first boom and horizontal is enough large so that placing boom can't impact cab when it is extended.
Warning:
When concrete pump truck is working, it is prohibited that the end hose lies behind the vertical direction of the placing boom.
1.3 Folding placing boom
The operation steps of folding placing boom is opposite to the operation steps of extending it. In the same way, the inclination between the first boom and horizontal needs to be kept above 40°, when front V support is used, this inclination should be enough large. This can avoid folding placing boom impacting barriers.
The end hose embeds in the hose support.
Placing boom is completely folded from the bodywork flank, then it is pricked with the inclination to horizontal above 40°, and it with folding type is revolved around the center of the slewing table about 80°until it is towards just the rear of the machine.
When front V support is used, placing boom is needed to prick up and the switch is adjusted to two-side support mode after it is folded completely. After this is done, it can be revolved about 180° to the rear of the machine.
Placing boom is put down to the boom support just from the rear of the machine.
